A spatial situation room.
Watch the world breathe — on your Mac, and on Apple Vision Pro.
Vigil renders real-time data as composable layers on a live 3D globe. Weather, earthquakes, flights, news, air quality, calendar events — each one a lens on the same world, all visible at a glance.
What it does
- A dozen live data layers on a 3D globe: weather, earthquakes, live flights, news, air quality, weather radar, traffic, calendar, and more.
- Each layer renders as pins, decals, polylines, pulse rings, or heatmap billboards — chosen for the data, not the framework.
- Tap any feature to fly the globe to it, open a detail window, and read AI-generated context.
- Ambient mode auto-rotates the globe and cycles through your saved watchlist locations — a glanceable wall display.
- On-device AI briefings & chat — ask about your globe, powered by Apple’s built-in intelligence. No account, no API key, works offline.
What it doesn’t do
- No accounts. No login screen. No telemetry.
- No remote sync of your watchlist or chat history (CloudKit container is reserved for v1.1).
- No third-party SDKs that send data anywhere.
- No subscription — Vigil is a one-time $4.99 purchase on the visionOS App Store, every layer and feature included.
